ODEN Eats

From 2006 to 2011, I was part of the ODEN Marketing & Design team. As part of a company project in 2010, we explored several ways to fundraise internally in order to reach our goal of granting a wish for a child through Make-A-Wish Foundation. One of these projects was a cookbook called ODEN Eats: 89 Recipes You’ll Flip Over.

I volunteered to lead this project and had the opportunity to design the piece as well as handle the production of the piece. The book consists of 89 recipes from ODEN employees that range from appetizers and main dishes to miscellaneous items that don’t really fit into a specific category. The recipe cards are hand cut and adhered to a fish spatula allowing you to easily “flip” from one recipe to the next. A short run of 200 cookbooks were created and sold to employees, clients, friends and family as part of our fundraising efforts. In the end, we met our goal and were able to grant a wish for a very special little girl.
